We are members of UCI's academic community who are interested in how and why people write about the future. This is a place for us to extend class discussions and bring to our class' attention material from outside the required reading list that is relevant to our course themes. Here we will discuss how visions of the future work rhetorically, what limits these visions, and what they say about the culture that produces them.
